To register your vehicle, you need to visit your town or city clerk within 60 days of purchase or moving in. You’ll need to submit the following:

• Notarized Bill of Sale (unless selling a titled vehicle)
• Certificate of Title: Properly assigned to the buyer
• Odometer Disclosure: You need to fill out Form TDMV-12 for vehicles under 10 years and under 16,000 lbs
• Proof of Residency: Example, utility bill or lease agreement
• Payment: Fees and taxes as per RSA 261:141 and local charges

For boat registration, you need to submit the following documents to the New Hampshire DMV:

• Bill of Sale: Including buyer/seller info, make, model, year, HIN
• Boat registration application: You need to fill out Form DSMV-612
