Free West Virginia Bill of Sale Forms

If you purchase a vehicle in West Virginia, you must title and register it through your local West Virginia DMV Regional Office.

For private firearm sales in West Virginia:

• The seller should make sure the buyer is legally allowed to own a firearm
• A Bill of Sale should include the firearm’s serial number, make, model, date of sale, and both parties’ IDs

West Virginia permits concealed carry without a permit for residents aged 21 and above (§61-7-4). If you are between the ages of 18 to 20, you will need a provisional concealed handgun license.
