Some users appear to go into “Sherlock Holmes” mode around these events, using their research skills to decipher every available detail and put together intricate accounts of what has supposedly happened, what caused it, how high the settlement figures are… the list goes on. Other users show support for their favorite celebrity, whilst some poke fun at the dramatics of it all.
Over the last year or so, we've used the platform as a window into some of the highest-profile celebrity divorces and separations.
So, with that in mind, we have scoured TikTok to research some of the most famous and well-known celebrity divorces and breakups and compiled a list of the exes with the most liked content on TikTok - some of them may surprise you.

Using TikTok, we then searched for both celebrity names involved in the split, followed by the word “divorce” or “breakup” (depending on marital status) - e.g. “Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorce”. We then filtered the results to sort by highest liked content, and summed the number of likes received by the top 10 videos, to give us the most high-profile breakups according to TikTok.
